Oktobra 2020 so zapatisti in zapatistke v izjavi [Šesti del: Gora na odprtem morju](http://enlacezapatista.ezln.org.mx/2020/10/05/sexta-parte-una-montana-en-alta-mar/)
mrežam upora na vseh koncih sveta sporočili, da bodo v prihodnjem obdobju organizirali
potovanje različnih zapatističnih delegacij na vseh pet kontinentov, ter da bo njihova
prva odprava v juliju, avgustu, septembru in oktobru 2021 obiskala evropski kontinent.
Namen potovanja: *Izpeljati srečanja, pogovore, izmenjave idej, izkušenj, analiz in ocen
med tistimi, ki se iz različnih izhodišč in na različnih področjih zavzemamo za boj za
življenje.*
Z namenom priprave srečanj z zapatistično delegacijo na teritoriju Slovenije se je oblikovala regionalna Koordinacija. Sestavljajo jo kolektivi, skupine, mreže, posameznice in posamezniki, ki se strinjajo z deklaracijo [Za življenje](https://zapatista.kompot.si/izjava) in tako na teritoriju Slovenije kot v širši geografiji delujejo v skladu z njo. Gre za antiavtoritarno koordinacijo in v njej ne sodelujejo politične stranke,
vključno z njihovimi podmladki ali drugimi strukturami, nevladne organizacije in uradnih institucij. Koordinacija odločitve na skupščinah in drugače sprejema na podlagi razprav in konsenza. <br><br>

## Who are we?
In October 2020 the Zapatistas published a declaration [Part Six: A Mountain on the High Seas](http://enlacezapatista.ezln.org.mx/2020/10/07/part-six-a-mountain-on-the-high-seas/). In it they have informed the networks of resistance in all corners of the world that the various zpatista delegations are going on a voyage that wil ultimately take them to all five continents. They have also stated that their first delegation will take them to Europe in July, August, September and October 2021. The purpose of the voyage: *To carry out meetings, dialogues, exchanges of ideas, experiences, analyses and evaluations among those of us who are committed, from different conceptions and from different areas, to the struggle for life.*
With the purpose to prepare the encounters and meeting with the Zapatista delegation in the territory of Slovenia we have established a regional Coordination. Its members are collectives, groups, networks, individuals that support the declaration [For Life](http://enlacezapatista.ezln.org.mx/2021/01/01/part-one-a-declaration-for-life/) and act accordingly in the territory of Slovenian state and in wider geographies. It is an anti-authoritarian coordination and has no participation from the political parties (including their youth sections or other affiliated structures) as well as no participation from the non-governmental organizations and official institutions. Coordination takes the decisions on the assemblies of the Coordination or otherwise. The decisions are based on the collective discussions and consensus.
