Revert "written in perl" This reverts commit cae559f677c915519770e20888186cd6ad186931. Ikiwiki's implementation language is not so important as to appear in the first, key sentence of its website. The language is already documented elsewhere, as in the install page.

Ikiwiki is a **wiki compiler**. It converts wiki pages into HTML pages

[[Setup]] has a tutorial for setting up ikiwiki, or you can read the
[[man_page|usage]]. There are some [[examples]] of things you can do
